that happy notion asside,

.. if it is a true Secret sSanta.. we will know who we are assigned to give to. We can use our own sense of the game to figure out if we're assigned a scammer or what type of gift might be most appreciated . If we saw we were assigned a wealthy player, we might try to give them something colorful that took time and care instead of something of more isk value that we'd lean to if we thought we were assigned a newer, or persistently-broke pvp'er(maybe a better fit ship to make up for a lolz one they lost)
