I think it's a trap - the Rubicon splash page talks about Eve pilots breaking away from the Empires. An awesome storyline change would the Empire navies declaring war on capsuleers. That would also support the new concepts of mobile structures and guerrilla warfare.

But given the no notice aspect of this it's probably not - that big a change would probably have a lot more build up.

Speculation ? quite a change of pace for a life event. Suppose its related to that explosion recently in the YFN-UN constellation ?

Sansha Nation incursions in highsec have become safe thanks to competent incursion focused groups like TVP and WTM among many others. Isk is being generated faster and faster thanks to predictable spawns and repeatable game mechanics.

In essence highsec incursions are flooding the game with ISK, causing the beginnings of a massive tsunami of inflation.

If CCP does not address the issue of highsec incursion they will inflate the economy possibly to a bursting point.

So, the only logical choice is to remove all highsec incursions.

Lowsec and nullsec incursions will still exist.

Bye bye overpowered highsec isk faucets! Might bring plex prices back down, but who knows, the damage to the economy might be too severe at this point...

Is there something else coming into rubicon that was not covered yet in the features list?! If NDA is too strong on you, a simply yes or no will be enough.

ps, seems like a good time to mention that we have space for rent

PS: If you guys think that every goon post ending with this line is simply not enough, I can help by making t shirts, tattoo's, rent pilot bio's and also hire some Jita spam bots to help your cause.

Well the whole post was meant to attract the attention of a certain forum dweller, but apparently he didn't see it or didn't bite. Oh well. No, to the best of my knowledge they're not actually removing incursions and there's nothing left to reveal about Rubicon. P

It is far more likely the tie in with the new ghost sites in Rubicon.
Something that makes the ghost sites appear where they were invisible before.
Probably attacking some sort of nexus that makes all the others appear in normal space.
The explosion Probably relates to the 'lost lover' being sought and the experiment to find him outside of normal space in the new Chronicle,
Hopefully some unreleased info hidden until today and new unannounced goodies?Big smile

Judging by the article, the target is either Sansha Kuvakei or Mittens.

Guess it turned out the target was Mittens.

Fortunately for him, Razor showed up to defend their dear leader. Blink

Well you were sorta right about the ghost sites.

Did anybody actually reach those sites? I wonder.

Not if They came from hisec THe TDI alone would have made that impossible, Only the residents would have had any chance once all the victims had been ambushed and slaughtered.

there's a saying do not assume malice when incompetence is a possibility. but really leading people into the most active warzone in eve end encouraging them to jump in to the worlds biggest pre prepared gatecamp? Could anyone really be that incompetent???

I leave the conclusions to others.

Meh. I don't know.

I'm watching goons gloat over this but the event really worked to enforce the most damaging, and at the same time, incorrect notion about nullsec : "jump in and die". Lots of lone wolves and small gang PVPers, soloers, explorers, covert miners, and other nefarious nabobs will say otherwise - including the people who inhabit nullsec as well. The Jump-in-and-die reputation of nullsec does hurt the game and not just the nullseccers' PVP game. Many lacking time to join organizations will rot in highsec and eventually get bored and leave.

Nobody would gloat once they realize the implications of this. If there are articles online about this in the game boards, the comment sections are going to be rife with "Yep, that's why I unsubbed and never went back".

As for malice.... well.... if CCP did this on purpose, it certainly was not well thought out. Whether this was a "let's feed a nullsec gatecamp for the lols" operation, or just poor planning, in the end they managed to screw their own pooch on this one.

Nope looking like Rubicon Is the delivering of blood, sacrifice.Shocked
They sacrificed Hisec now the next step will be to demand a sacrifice from null and losec.
Be interesting to see if the same reaction applies from them then.Twisted
