According to my trusted sources, you might have lung cancer, leukemia, prostate cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, kidney cancer, aids, a blood clot, internal hemorrhaging, the common cold, the flu, gangrene, a stroke, a heart attack, liver failure, kidney failure, a blocked nerve, paralysis or brain trauma.

You should have said so earlier!

That narrows it down to lung cancer, leukemia, prostate cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, kidney cancer, aids, a blood clot, internal hemorrhaging, the common cold, the flu, a stroke, a heart attack, liver failure, kidney failure, a blocked nerve, paralysis or brain trauma.

It depends on how much later you went to sleep though, if it was more than 1 hour later as usual it would add lead poisoning to the list of possible things.

I didn't feel like telling you to your face that it's over, so I slipped nightshade into your tea.

I'm breaking up with you BTW.

It's Onomatopoeia. And yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

Maybe it's an allergic reaction of some kind.

If it turns slightly grey with a blue tone to it and when you press on it with a thumb, it has some resistance but gives after and you hear a organic popping sound -- you need to cut it off.

If you don't you will see tendrils of the same blue-grey color radiate outwards.

In all seriousness, there are a lot of reasons why you might lose sensetivity in an extremity, some bad but many harmless.

Being unable to feel is pretty vague.

Can you detect temperature (dip it in hot water)?
Can you detect blunt force (gently hit it on the top with something made of rubber)?
Can you detect sharpness (poke the underside with a needle or skewer, no need to break the skin)?

Then it has to be Wilson's disease.
