A way round kill rights

It appears that some pilots have found a way round kill rights. The serial gankers are now getting an alt or a pal to shoot them in high sec then getting them to put an exorbitant fee on their kill right and thus leaving them almost immune to others activating the kill right. Two examples I saw in the last 24 hours were of ganking chars with kill rights of 500 mil.

This I can see only growing and thus making a farce of what kill rights were originally intended for, any suggestions for solutions ? Mine would be to put a cap on kill rights of 30 mill, what say you.

When buying killrights the client will only allow you to buy the cheapest killright.

Hmmm, or maybe they put a price equal to their lost implants so they can buy new ones at your expense. Lol

Also it could be an alt that the ganker is using to try and make a profit from his death, from unsuspecting killright hunters.

Then again it would only work if thats the only killright they have, which in turn would invalidate your serial ganker theory.

There should be no restriction on charges for killrights, if you want to kill it bad enough then pay what they want. Otherwise wait till someone opens one for free, if they are serial gankers as you claim then there should be a lot more killrights avaialble from them for a lot less if not for free.

This. Trust me, I tried this approach.

Multi hundred million ISK killrights are useful in other ways, but not as a way to cover other killrights. Multi billion ISK killrights are always a trap.

Scott, this is why you're always falling for that conspiracy theory garbage you spout on comms. You jump to conclusions too quickly for your own good.

I read this and thought... The guy falls for stuff he says on comms... he falls for things he says... what??.. but then I realized he's Scott Webb of the Scott Webb Corp and somehow it made sense. Rum may have been involved.

Did you deny it?
Surely the Illuminati would always deny it?

Did you confirm it?
A clever double bluff to make us think you aren't Illuminati.

I think he might have been right you are the Illuminati.

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

Scott, to be honest, you sound like a nice guy. However, if you want credibility, you need to learn to own your mistakes.

You reached an erroneous conclusion about KR mechanics based on your observations. In a knee-jerk reaction, you started a thread based on this error, suggesting a solution, and asking for input on how to "fix" a problem that did not exist in the first place. Of course, the first thing to happen was someone correcting your mistake.

Most people would at least acknowledge their mistake with an "oops" or a "My bad" or something approximating an admission that they were wrong. A slightly higher class person might even apologize for spreading their misconception.

Compare these reactions to your own.

Incorrect.
I currently have about 30 KR's available on me.
The highest KR does not trump the lowest.
If you have one for 200 Billion, and one for 0 ISK, the 0 ISK one is the one that you can activate first.
