Since next expansion will change marauders mechanics, what do you think will happen with the T1, faction and marauders prices? Personally I think a lot of players will at least try the new marauders, so marauders price should rise and faction BSes will drop a little, not much but will drop, T1 battleships should suffer no impact.

What are your thoughts?

T1 BS should continue to rise. Slowly.

Many are selling for significantly below build cost, due to prebuilt stockpiles. (in other news, please lose more T1 battleships. I have stockpiles)

Has there been any news if the materials for manufacturing will change on marauders?

There may be a brief, short term rush on Marauders that will raise the price, and then producers will flock to them and crush the margin again.

You know, just like happens with every T2 ship that's been tweaked so far.

I think Marauders are one of those ship classes that are meant for Vets and most vets already have one or two.

Alot of newer pilots will look at the lengthy skill tree to fly a Marauder, maybe take a moment or two to whine on Forums about said "unfair" training times, and then cough up a "meh" as their attention span is consumed by some other shiny new toy to fly.

A few newer (and returning pilots, there always a few that show up for an expansion) pilots will jump in with both feet and not realize (read: "Ignore" ) the depth of training on support skills needed... and promptly become the primary customers looking for replacement Marauders.

T1 hulls will only increase when they are destroyed in large numbers. Which presently is only really happening for the Dominix.

I don't see Marauders staying high as they compete with pirate battleships which are about the same cost and just tend to be a bit more versatile, plus people who fly Marauders tend to be loss averse enough that they aren't lost in extreme numbers.

T1 Hull are calculate with mineral need with large part of Tritanium and some rare mineral for BS ship , so if mineral are stable , the price are guide by law of supply & demand ..
with some ops cause by change lot of producer or trader anticipate them and price growing but decrease as fast than growing ..

ship are consume by final customer and trader like to solve theire ops as soon as possible for have no sleeping isk...

Index of T1 BS Build (base on average need of each ship )
================

Type Bs
Index ITFMinpBs

Table Ponderation
Tritanium 74,91%
Pyerite 18,95%
Mexallon 4,59%
Isogene 1,17%
Noxcium 0,30%
Zydrine 0,07%
Megacyte 0,02%
Morphite 0,00%

( old data not update since few year juste for information)

but dont forget : the riues and strategy of trader are not the same of producer

I think marauders will go up in prise massive. With the new Empire POCO thing, i can see marauders being used as mini dreads in Empire, and not just for missioning.

Marauder's Bastion Modules won't help them do increased damage against stationary structures, it will make them sitting ducks.

As Dreads they will need support.

"...they become fixed weapon placement with a bonus to resistances, tanking, damage projection and receiving EW immunity."

EDIT:
Extends all large turret falloff and optimal by 25%
Increases all large missile max velocity by 25%

Ya your right, could still be used with some interesting tactics with the new EWAR frigates.

But ya im unsure if they will be used more in PVP, i kind of doubt that now...

marauder are T2 Ship , (T1 Bs Hull base cost lower than 10% or final cost ) , major expander are T2 componant so check some knew syphon Feature in rubico and check history price of moon raw before the expansion .

Maurauder production and maket exchange are tiny business ( for exemple in The forge 20pc in order sell and currently sell day : 20-30 pc /day ) so , quote manipulation are not a problems for some bigwallet trader ...

For taking down POS in highsec, I can see Marauders being used.

Mostly for defanging dickstars, with the EWar immunity.
