Actually, Ev0ke joined the State Protectorate after getting run out of nullsec on a rail.

It killed them even faster than simply stagnating in hi-sec would have done.

Kill reports from the front suggest TEST also got a nasty surprise. There's a tendency for null-sec alliances to assume the CEWPA pilots are those who can't hack null, an attitude which tends to cost them in the initial stages of their deployments here.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Well, that's a very common misconception about nullsec combat pilots: that they're automatically better at combat than empire combat pilots because nullsec is "more dangerous," which is in itself a misconception.

I am a nullsec capsuleer, and I can safely say most nullsec pilots are not combat pilots. Wannabe combat pilots maybe.

In my eyes and in my corporation's eyes, true ship to ship combat is not forming a blob and telling the ship to fire when the fleet commander tells you too. To be fair it's great for entry level combat pilots. You don't need to make any decisions or know any tactics, you just need to be able to follow orders and have your ship fitted correctly, which for a new combat pilot can be daunting tasks, though it's not true combat.

Most nullsec pilots don't like fighting. They prefer to make ridiculous amounts of money and only fight when necessary. I consider myself a newbie combat pilot. I would have more experience if I wasn't tied up in more personal matters. However the one thing I do know for sure is to never prejudge or underestimate an enemy.
