I was wondering whats the problem with Ship Paint, even corp/alliances logos, premade paints/logos? And why they havent implemented that yet.?

Is it a technical issue?
Are they waiting a sucky expansion to fill it in?
Are they dont want Pink ships around? (remove pink and problem solved, just RGB would be fine)
They dont care?

Why????

Also your customization team are very slow. Damn, this game have 10 years and customization greatest achievement is the "new" portrait.
In my opinion and i know im not alone, the customization team is thinking to much in technical features instead of just cosmetics and social interactions.
* If you dont have a customization team, damn you.

IMO because it's a purely aesthetic improvement that probably requires a lot of dev cycles, but doesn't actually make the game 'better' in any way.

CCP seems really focused on changing mechanics, giving us new toys and polishing the game play experience.

zomg cool paint job really doesn't do any of those things. It's a pretty small (but vocal) minority that wants to see ship skins above and before other, better things they could change.

I for one could give zero fucks what color my ship is. I play at minimum settings and zoomed out to 100km so my ship and my mates ships are little purple boxes.

Aesthetics does polish the game play experience.

Something like what exists in AC For Answer would be great. Would add all of 1kb worth of code for other clients to identify the color/pattern/logo combinations.

CCP's true, butthurt, colors.

Because those who can't do themselves keep others from doing too.

I only want to be able to paint my ship if doing so means I can lose my criminal timers and duck CONCORD.

Then I'm going to go gank those exotic dancers and get my ******* isk back.

Loading of unique textures per ig player is already done.
Everytime you jump into a system and look at local each player has a unique avatar - while there's size & grid considerations - but much of the higher lvl client/server code is already implemented.

Dust players were recently surveyed about what they'd like to see in upcoming content patches - and suit customisation was one of the options - Survey
