I think it's great when newer players encounter situations like this for the first time and handle them in what the feel is a logical manner. It's amusing for all involved, and forms some of your fondest memories of the game as you become more experienced.

So cut her a break guys, and thanks for sharing the story.

However, I may never forgive you for the fact that the old disco era song with the refrain "They call me Lady Bump, Lady Bump" is now stuck in my head.

Have fun with your PVPin', Hope you enjoy it.

I recommend using some smaller ships though. You just learn more that way, plus it lets you settle on a hull size you enjoy flying. BS is not always the best when it comes to PVP.

7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided. --Eve New Player Guide

Breaks were cut, on my end. I was giving her sound advice.

Besides.... everyone knows small gang Frig and Cruiser PvP is the best...

That moment when you realize the crazy lady with all the cats was right...

There is the kind that actually mines while baiting as well... but we don't want to encourage mining..so no one talks about that one.

Lol this story is too funny not to tell, OMG SHES ATTENTION WHORING AGAIN, why yes folks I am.

Anyway.

Just got done with my mission in my Domi and low and behold .. a shiny flashing yellow procurer outside of station... do i?! DOOOO I??!!! I DOOOOOOOOOOO

So yea i targeted it and sent my drones... and then most peculiar thing happened... the procurer tackled me !!!! Lol ...

The procurer started shooting me (yes shooting, it had a gun mounted) and sent its drones out as well)... well eventually the procurer got tired of being damaged so it took its gun and popped 20 of my drones one after another while i popped its drones... annnnd then it began... the staring contest.... OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Lol the procurer still had 5 drones left and was pop shotting me with its little pea shooter, and my tank was wayyy to stronk for him to even touch me... so we sat there, looking silly with like 10 people from local watching....

And then my friends came hoping to pop him but his timer had worn off... so .... yea....

Thats when I made my second biggest mistake, after like 20 minutes, he let me go, and I started slow boating to the station... DUMBBBBB

He came back out in a Enyo or w/e lol.. and that spiced things up, my tank was barely holding it together... but i was still trudging along to the station... and thats when HIS friends started bumping me away, to which my friends started bumping me back!!! Yes its exactly as u see it in your head... I was the domi ping pong ball .... this went on for 30 minutes...

SO AN HOUR LATER ... we finally called it a draw... and all laughed hysterically ... and much fun was had

Disgusting station games.

It's like that highlander rule about not fighting in churches. If the immortals played Eve, they all would have been smacktalking from inside churches.

It's time we put some balls on. It's time that a ship cannot dock when under fire. C'mon, we want to be leet? No ships under fire can dock. It's logical. Why would Scotty want to tow in a ship with missiles trailing it and flak bouncing off it?

Balls or GTFO.

You really shouldn't sit in a dominix as a month old one.

It means you have neglected the more important fitting skills,
or support skills, as others call it. PG, CPU, CAP, Shields, Armor, Hull ...

Then there's gunnery, rapid fire, optimal range, tracking ...

Let me help you to not make a typical mistake noobs do.

Bigger ships aren't better. Every ship has a role.
Many new players get tricked into the belief that they should skill to bigger ships early,
without them ever realising what they have missed by not fully enjoying the smaller ships.

Instead, they waste their time grinding.

New players are, by most people i know, advised to "fit 50 rifters and head to lowsec".
"People will be actually helpfull and talk to you too, if you ask like a normal person".

Nowadays it might be the slasher, though. :)

That's a cheap way of learning how ships work,
optimal, falloff, tracking,
Space itself! (as a noob, always zoom out fully to see what's going on!)
how to manouver,
how to not get killed by your own adrenaline,
situational awareness, ...

TL;DR:

Forget the big ships. Aim for frigates, destroyers or cruisers
and learn to understand what you're doing and how combat works.
And in the meantime, skill stuff that supports or strenghtens your abilities.

Or head back to your mining treadmill.

(AND ... you won't get very far isk-wise if you keep losing battleships, too. ^_^)

Ha ha I liked it! But yeah you shouldn't be in a Domi, I'm kinda glad you didn't lose it but stick it in a station for now.

I gave Solstice a like, you have now tasted PVP and have a choice between the threadmill or taking your frigates / destroyers / cruisers for a spin. Don't mind the bittervets being killjoys curbing your enthousiasm, but the experience you'll get from shipping down and PVP-ing in ships you can actually afford to lose is invaluable. And a lot more fun then station games Blink

The visual of that Domi being bumped back and forth like a soccer match is actually kind of funny Lol
