If Mittens wanted back on the CSM he'd just sign up as a candidate in 2014, as he's not barred from doing so. And yes, he'd win.

People who don't actually play eve outside of running a lottery website aren't expected to get that, sadly.

I do suspect, though, that that quote is entirely out of context and that they weren't discussing the referral bonus, because I don't recall the CSM being terribly involved in this beyond mere acknowledgement.

It's highly disturbing that you cats leap to point out how absurd it is that your owner wouldn't be able to be elected to the CSM....but while you're actively tonguebathing his ballsack for the public, you have no issue with the assertions that he's so wrapped up in a video game he actively encouraged a human being's death for personal amusement.

That is rather old news, it was an incident that was deliberately blown out of proportion to remove Mittens from the CSM.

It was a joke, which is why CCP let it go through.

Maybe he is not a US citizen. Depending on where he lives it might be reailistically possible for him to evade taxes.

Somer is stupidly popular with the devs. I forget the podcast CCP Rise stated that the devs play it all the time with their non CCP toons. He even went so far to say that the devs were buying GTC's to support their own Somer gambling habits. I'll look it up and link it here.

It was on "The Daily Roam" Episode 6 CCP Rise said it. LINK He says it within the first few min of the cast starting. No hate to the daily roam here or for CCP Rise. These were simply facts stated.
