hilarious how devs think a purely for profit casino corp. is a community service. yeah, they provide so much more service than EveMon, Dotlan, etc. Roll

Gambling sites like Somer need to have over site period so they don't wreck the sand box. no matter how much isk they throw around they are not good for eveonline.

Well, i guess we wait and see how long before Somer closes down now their RMT route has been cut off.

Then and only then, will we see how much "for the community" Somer really is....

The sad thing is I don't think a single person other than those prefixed with "CCP " ever thought somer was a community site/service. Everyone knew it was a business - one we sometimes we gave our patronage - but a business none the less.

They are not like Dotlan, EVEMon, EFT, the mittani dot com, eve news 24, Chribba sites, etc.

And no one ever, ever thought they were, regardless of CCPs protests.

As you said, we'll see this very clearly now that their RMT route has been cut off (if it has, they still have the link up at the minute and appear to offer their blink-credit bonuses)

I remember at the start of this when Navigator implied he had done a full audit of all somers transactions and systems and stated proudly that they honoured everything perfectly and were legit.

Did he miss the RMT aspect? Or was he confused by the fluid, uncertain EULA too? Does that mean he's going to reverse all those transactions that he totally audited and wasn't just lying about in order to promote somer?
