?

I should buy an Ishtar.

Well, hi-sec and lo-sec ores are currently worth roughly the following (ISK/m3 mined, assuming zero-tax and perfect refine):

Veld 99 Scor 91 Pyro 128 Plag 103 Omb 68 Kern 104 Jasp 157 Hemo 179 Hedb 174

So depending on what you mine, you take the m3/hr that you can mine with whatever ship you are using and multiply by the ISK/m3 value of the ore that you collected and you'll get a rough approximation. Note that there are variants of the ores that hold 5% and 10% more minerals per m3, which makes them worth 5% and 10% more then the regular ores.

Definitely worth it.
I have an alt trained to scan. Her frigate has scan bonuses, plus two scanning rigs which improve probe strength. Sisters core scanner probes.
Skills: Astrometrics Aqcuisition level 3
Astrometric Pinpointing level 4 (reduces scan deviation by 10% per level)
Astrometric Rangefinding level 3 (increases scan probe strength by 10% per level)
Astrometrics level 4 allows 1 additional probe in space per level.

With the ship setup, the skills, and the sisters probes, I can scan down "Large Jaspet, Hemorphite, and Kernite" deposits in 0.7 systems (barely). I doubt I would be able to pinpoint a "Large Hedbergite, Hemorphite, and Jaspet" deposit due to lack of skill, however I have found small/medium ones.

I believe Jaspet shows up in 0.8 systems in the form of small or medium Jaspet/Kernite/Omber deposits, but I can't say that with 100% accuracy.

You should really only use the Rokh if your battleship skills are better than your Exhumer skill, or you are *shorter* on isk. If you are concerned with maximizing your profits, a Hulk will definitely outmine a Rokh in the long term and can tank anything you need to tank in null.

Just keep your eyes on local (obviously). If you're interested in mining, go for the Hulk.
