It may be already posted but I don't find the post, so

What's the meaning of the GJ indicator of a ship scanner result?

Obviously it can't be the GJ of the scanned ship (e.g. a merlin can't reach the 250GJ my scan shows).

I though about some sort of precision indicator, but it seems it doesn't listen to if I'm at 0 or at 30km, the GJ results seems a bit random to me.

Any thoughs or facts I missed?

Also sorry for possible grammar mistakes.

GJ typically means gigajoule, which measure capacitor. I don't recall where you're seeing it regarding the scanner, so I don't know.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

If you mean the blue bar at the top right it is the ships current capacitor. It is often used by ships like the Bhaalgorn to check the capacitor of the target(s) they are neuting, to avoid spending too much cap to keep the enemy ship(s) capcitor at a minimum.
