How's this for a PVP Incursus?

Op, that dual rep fit that you have come to is one of the standard incursus fits so is graviel's rail fit. They are both very fun to fly. Here is another standard

Incursus, golden standard

DC II
Adaptive nano plating II
200mm rolled tungsten plate
Small ancillary armor repairer

Experimental 1mn ab
Faint warp scrambler
X5 prototype engine enervator

Light neutron blaster II
Light neutron blaster II
Light neutron blaster II

Aux nano pump
Aux nano pump
Hybrid burst aerator

Hobgoblin II

A few things: blasters need a web to apply damage unless you're a 1337 pilot.
You don't NEED to be in FW plexes to catch things with your ab, you just need to pick your targets well and/or be able to pull off manual piloting tricks like the "sling shot". It takes practice. You should avoid overly expensive mods & implants, especially in a frgate, as you will die a lot. You will die a lot. It is a simple fact of eve pvp. Especially in frigates.

One more thing. "Fun to fly" in eve should always be read as "challenging to manage, almost dead during the entire engagement, can pull off outlandish sh¡t in the hands of an experienced pilot. Now get out ther and have fun.

I cannot slingshot an orbiting Condor or Atron in a plated Incursus. My agility and speed skills are max (and then some). Maybe I'm just bad but I think that if the attack frigate has a nano they are very hard to scram. Cutting afterburner and overheating at the right time gets them to about 13 km. A faction scram or links would sort them out but I don't want to fly with either.

And if we are posting general fits then this is my favourite Incursus. It kills all the things if you are fast enough.

[Incursus, BP3]
200mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
Damage Control II
Small Ancillary Armor Repairer, Nanite Repair Paste
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

1MN Afterburner II
Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor I
Initiated Harmonic Warp Scrambler I

Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S
Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S
Light Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge S

Small Hybrid Burst Aerator I
Small Hybrid Collision Accelerator I
[empty rig slot]

Hobgoblin II x1

Zappity makes a fine point about target selection. Although the incursus is a tanky beast it can't touch light, speedy frigs unless the engagement starts at zero and even then they may pull enough range to take the fight.

I prefer to take advantage of the incursus' high tank by accentuating it. Try to take it up against a rupture. Just hope that he has arty's or 425's fit and no friends around. You may surprise yourself. Even if you lose your tank will surprise the heck out of the rupy pilot.

Frigs are throw away ships, meant for that sort of fun and learning experience. Just my .02 isk

I can confirm that dual rep Incursus are terrible and that Garv is right.

125 Railcursus is very stronk however and the fit linked is, although a little ganky than I like, good.

Well there's a good challenge! I will go on a cruiser hunt and report back in a few days.

Someone said to use navy 400s on an incursus... don't get 2x navy 200s instead, the incursus does barely have 400 cap at all V.
It'll be better for you to inject cap with 200s (and you'll last longer).

And to that guy using 125s on a heavy slow incursus, bro get blasters if you wanna brawl.

@Op Always fit a DCU on any frigate, it's going to save you when you get to hull and your armor repper is late. (remember it's at the end of the cycle, not at the start like shields.)

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I

Light Ion Blaster II, Antimatter Charge S

This is a very strong pvp incursus, and it will wreck a ton, you just have to learn how to use it.

This confirms that you are bad.

I must truly be bad with all this proof you're showing.

Besides that if you fit rails on an incursus that's got plate and armor rigs on it, you're bound to die.
If anything with an ab starts orbiting you or anything really you're just dead.

If you like rails get a tristan, or get a tristan with neuts.

Just terrible

The rail incursus is pretty much in a class of its own when it comes to brawling.
