I like how any actual substance is now dismissed from my statements. Lol

Is the truth that hard to stomach? Or are you all really that dead-set in your little worlds that the truth practically shatters them?

Either way, it's cute.

Please continue.

To be fair to them, Isis, you've given them every reason to not take you very seriously. You've become something of a Diana Kim-like punchline.

The irony is I really want to take them seriously. And then they say really dumb things that make me wonder if they forgot what side of the universe they're on.

Everyone wants to be a white knight. Is it wrong of me to correct them?

No I pretty much said we have some back water worlds and ignorant people within our little Empire, however we also have our ways to publicly shame and laugh at them during the political process. If anything we are slow to act but passionate within our own borders...Hell even the Minmatar threw dreads at us and we aren't at war.

Two things. One, I was crediting your people with being passionate, especially in light of democracy. Everyone wants a vote and it takes time to get a vote from everyone. Got it. Never a question there.

Only the prospect of how such things could be used against you. Like Caldari at their core, your kind can easily be steered by hate. There's an awesome topic Fred can link you where we actually debated how that could really hurt you within a war with the Minmatar.

Which brings the funny subject you highlighted... why would you get mad at Minmatar immortals when you're wanting to free and empower their people? That would completely counter all you've worked for and the trillions your people have sank into wanting to aid the Matari.

No, you got the chance to make an argument that until now only Amarr have dared to claim: our interests care more for your own people than yours do.

Now, for the sake of moving on from this, especially since that statement wasn't entirely meant for you, Liuni, can we agree?

On your first point I say some of us can be easily steered by hate but that is why many of us also think that the influx of different people and many Minmatar is a good thing. Different thoughts and ideals working towards a common goal keeps the hate down on a federal level where as with one population hates one thing another can be indifferent or like it.

For the second point at getting mad at the trespassing dreads and battleships before them I could go on about the lives lost and the laws broken but everyone knows that story already. Not to mention it's over use in conversations while flying. I doubt the Caldari would tolerate the Amarr doing that or vice versa.

Now for the elephant in the room, using the minmatar as a buffer as the Amarr claim which can easily be disproven because with a buffer that sends dreads to kill our military members....who needs a hot border anymore? If the trillions are for that I would say it's a stuipid investment.

So on these points sorry Isis but I cannot agree.

Any ideals not native to your own are alien. This isn't always a bad thing yet it is fact of life as well as a common trait within humanity. The Federation is still human. You can easily have this mechanic used against you, should you like it or not. Even Fred could not disprove this.

I don't understand your point about lives lost.

As for stupid investment, isn't this what this entire topic is about? Of course it's stupid. Your money buys my people our next warfleet. This is how it has been. This is how it will be. Why? Because in the end your people want to sleep peacefully at night. After all... you are a passionate people.
