I have made a poll about PI. The question is in what sec space you do PI.

lacks one option

nowhere

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

Assuming low sec is about twice as good as high sec, 0.0 and W are 3 times as good, the most productive area is W, about 36% of the total. Only 18% comes from high sec.

What's Planetary Interaction? Is that Fatty Space Porn?

How about an option for "Who Cares"?

Making some POS fuels in high sec makes me a few millions a day. That's enough to fit infinite T1 frigates per day and run repeatedly in Nullsec gates camped by 3 dramiels and a falcon.

How about anyone who likes to print ISK to buy plexes. 2 PI alts (whihc take less than two weeks to train BTW) can make enough ISK in PI to pay for an account.

But perhaps building things offends your sensibilities.

Like it is said, it is easier to destroy than it is to create. Its a sad fact that most in Eve stop at the destroy part *sigh*

I didn't vote in the pole because all my highsec PI i took down in preperation for our move to wormhole, where it will be set up.

I think most of the PI detractors either haven't tried PI or are expecting to much from it - it's not CCP certified "botting" type income where you do nothing and get large amounts of isk.

It is a pleasant mini-game for people who like to make stuff and not fight and it does produce enough isk not to be taken lightly.

I've found PI to be fun and worth it for my game play

Sad? No. That's the BEAUTY of Eve. The splosions. This game is PvP - EVERYTHING you do ought to be subject to interference, disruption, and griefing by other players. I dislike that PI is interference free, aside from planting colonies on top of other player's colonies and sucking up available resources.

Perhaps this is derailing the thread, it's the perfect post thou... on one side you have "This game is PVP - EVERYTHING" and the other side "But perhaps building things offends your sensibilities"...............It's beautiful.

CCP advertises both, some players come here for the sole purpose of playing Halo in space and others come to build vast fleets of shiny ships that will never recieve a scratch.........then they collide. "You shot my ship !", "Yah well you got friggin Veldspar dust all over mine"

Find your niche boys.....

Good Idea. Small issue: some players run in multiple systems of different natures.
EG: produce P1s in 0.0 (where you get best return) on one or more alts. Import to empire on another alt. Run PI factories in empire.
