I think they are brilliant at this game.
Their logistics capabilities and ability to organize and motivate their plebs is superb.
Their understanding of the economy of Eve is also among the very best, and they are certainly the best at exploiting it on a massive scale.
Their meta-game propagandists are very very good at what they do, and their ability to control the CSM and at the very least, directly sway CCP, is the envy of all. Their out of game management tools I am told are also truly excellent.

Whatever folks.
When I see goons coming in here and saying "oh no, we have not won Eve, and we can still be beaten", that sounds like a guy doing the 3 card Monte scam where he tells all, yeah, you can beat me, as long as you are smart.

NC folded under their own weight of ennui, while I seem to remember some goon spy pulling the plug on BoB's sov.
The first thing may happen to goons, but the 2nd won't.

And given the motivation of the ruling party of the goons to keep those income streams flowing, I strongly doubt they will allow the 1st to happen.

You seem to gloss over some of the comments I make about the goons.

I think they are brilliant at this game.

No, the goon leadership is very intelligent and their knowledge of how this game works has very few peers.

But that does not change the fact that they are evil and rapicious.
They remind me of the koch brothers, or the cadre on Wall Street.
Their motives are don't driven my any love for the game, but strictly how much income they can squeeze out of it for their personal gains, regardless of the impact this has on the overall health of the game.

And that makes them very very bad for Eve.

Oh man, I am fully quoting this full-on crazypants diatribe for the next page.

Also, you forgot about when we pulled the plug on ourselves. Twice.

But seriously, seek therapy. This is just a video game, and goons are players that come from an internet comedy site. Really.

His argument in layman's terms:

You took all the marshmallows, so now we can't have a campfire. And you don't even LIKE marshmallows!

Really????? I suggest you learn your history, it has already happened

Goonswarm had the plug pulled on there Sov 1 year after there spies did it to BoB, the CEO disbanded the alliance, raped the wallets and reserves and Goons/ZAF ended up fleeing Delve/Period Basis etc

Now where have I seen this before, oh yeah it was said about BoB

This is scary, perhaps March Rabbit is right!

they did.
they just changed their name to goons.

and they tricked everyone to actually believing that goons won them

So Mittani is really Sir Molle in disguise !!!! Shocked

EVE is a sandbox, the tides will always change and all alliances can be washed away with the turning of the tide, the BIG Thing keeping Goons top of the pile at the minute is not that they have piles of ISK and loads of caps, its is because , love em or hate em , they believe they can do it and are prepared to fight on no matter how big the knocks.

Where as doom sayers like Dinsdale and his ilk have lost the fight before they even undock, if you think your going to loose you will.

The funniest thing about this fight is...the last supers standing was Harry cynofist.
So, maybe Harry isn't an alt for the goons, but for PL?

If the goons manage to make 1984 in space I'll applaud them on their devotion. Then probably not join them because I would not want to live in space 1984.

What's this harper regime?

Some how I am not that surprised that, still to this day, people on eve-o and link anything to goons.
