Need advice for optimal mission running boat

Hello everyone,

i recently returned to this game after a break of about 3 years and thought about getting started by earning some money and experience in mission running before moving into low sec area. Actually after this huge break I have no idea which ship to buy and which mission to choose.

My char was mainly skilled for small gang warfare. With a total of 40 mill sp I have about 6 mill. sp in drone command (still missing t2 sentries), 2 mill. sp in missiles (mainly focused on cruiser and frigate skill with for example Heavy missiles on lvl 5) and about 1.5 million sp in turrets. Shield and armor tanking skills are almost completed and so are the navigation skills. I have nearly no skill points in battleship commands but I all battlecruiser and cruiser skills are at lvl 5 and I also got 2 of the t3 caldari subsystems skills to 5.

I guess my skillset isn't bad for a Tengu but I don't want to buy a ship I can't afford to loose. So with a total wallet of 1.1 billion ISK I want to spent a maximum of about 500 mill. in a good and reliable mission runner ship with which I am able to achieve at least 30-50 mill. ISK per hour.

I will start with a standard fitted drake to rise my standings and get started just a little bit. Any advices for a not too expensive fitting?

I am living in Gallente space at the moment and dont want to loose standings of the other nations. Which missions are best for earning money in Gallente space?

And at least which mission running boat should I aim for?

An eveboard link would help.

But a Tengu is probably a good choice from what you have described of your skills. It will make good use of heavy missiles V and its T2 resist profile makes it great for tanking Serpentis and Guristas. It also has a great speed tank with an afterburner. The Raven is also an option but will probably need some training.

You should be able to put a Tengu together for under 500 million if you avoid using too much bling. Although the standard fit is a bit over 600 million according to EFT.
