Hey look another trial case for the new was always this way ToS clarifications.

Please petition your loss since the player (according to your story) misrepresented themselves as another player. Since there is no ingame way to confirm that the character in question was in fact your friend from before, the impersonation breaks CCP's ToS.

Anyone replying to this post can go suck a big one, I'm just parrotting CCP's official response on this kind of issue.

If you could then post the results of said petitioning to a 3rd party site (kugutsemen, TMC, EN24, reddit/eve) so the player community can have a proper idea of CCP's enforcement (or lack thereof) of the ToS. Posting/discussing GM communications here is not allowed, but I know people will be interested in finding out the results. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide (via these third-party means).
