I am currently running a cerb with a hawk alt for high sec plexes.

Im thinking about moving to lowsec and using my tengu, but the question is, my hawk pilot: Stick him in a Buzzard or train skills for a t3. If a T3 wich of them.

If you already have good missile skills then another Tengu would be the logical choice. However if you want to venture out in something new the Ishtar is amazing for lowsec d.e.d sites. I wouldn't recommend using a buzzard cause while having a covops is nice for scouting and scanning, you can find some dead lowsec system to run sites in and just use one of your ships to scan out the sites, they are not that hard to scan and the bulk of your time will be spent doing the site which can be done much faster with 2 combat ships.

Dual T3s because dual DPS = faster plexing.

Plus I'd rather have 2x T3 then T3 and covt ops if someone not so friendly comes around.

Thanks for the replies.
My hawk Pilot have mediocre missile skills to say the least.
Been focusing on shield, armor, Engi and scanning skills. So the offense skills and ship skills is what I'm training next.

I know tengus are v. good, but want somet different lobbing missiles is ok, but gets boring lol.
Have been toying with the idea of training up to one of the recon ships and duoing with that but have no experience using them in either PvE or PvP.

Personally I fly a buzzard and it's a really good ship for exploration. It lets you work like any other scout ship but it is a covops so you can hide from the nasties while scanning and such.

No single right answer. A combat fitted t3 has no trouble making short work of most lowsec sites. In that respect I value having a dedicated scout, both as escort to the site and to sit on the entrance gate. However, if you have two t3's you can easily just have one of those scouts be a cloaky t3, and it can still add a couple hundred DPS to your site-clearing ability. And if you're active on d-scan, you don't really lose anything by not having a scout on in gate.
