I'm finding it that Drones set to Drone Assist from another fleet member to me SHOULD assist me when I'm attacking any targets.

However, when testing, the assisting drones (tested with light, medium, heavy and sentry) just Idle while I attack my target.


I'm using drones to attack my target, have tested small, medium, heavy and sentry, in all cases the assisting drones will idle.

You need to use a mod to get them to aggress. You can't just tell them to engage. Use a target painter or a civilian gun or something to trigger them.

Well that appears to be the problem, using drones does not trigger assisting drones.
Even so Drone Assist clearly states "The drones will then engage automatically any object the gang member attacks. The gang member can't control them directly." and I am very much engaging using my own drones, and would expect the assisting ones to well, assist.
