We started a one week war. Underestimating us extended the war into what it is today.

Ahhhh.....nope. Ganks abound. More or less than highsec, it would be a guess either way. This thread was never meant to brag about how great we are at highsec wars. It was about people who underestimate the ability of a small gang to fight and win.

So sinsmore read between those lines....

lol still don't see them posting.

your bragging about war deccing a low sec corp then hiding in high sec attacking people who are doing pve while telling us all how cool you are at pvp

your funny is all

I like tight fights where skill matters. It's really hard to find fights like that in highsec, thats why I usually roam low/null. Sometimes with few friends and usually solo (without links/scouts). I find boring chasing people that don't really want to fight you. For those intrested: you can find lots of pvp videos of this playstyle from "my eve" section of these forums.

Ganks don't make good pvp vids, maybe thats why highsec pvp is not represented that well there Pirate

You act in a quite arrogant way with your prposterous presumption that what we do is ganking. From time to time we cross with an idiotic hauler or orca that is defenseless. But i DOUBT you would not kill a hauler you found in 0.0 either.

The ratio of "real fights" and gankign in 0.0 and high sec is about the SAME . And I know because I lived a few years in 0.0 and several in low sec.

Rage over nothing, best rage.

Embarrassing, really.

You think that is rage? No mr.. far from It. Whenever I am startign to rage I reach a 72% upper case ratio on all my words. WHen I am fully enraged it borderlines 87%!

Embarassing is trying to look cool by pretendign to be able to read people emotions trough their forum posting.

No, it isn't. That comeback was quite embarrassing though, in a wonderfully ironic way.

Why shoudl I do something that a NPC corp character posts? Why would I do anything anyone else other than me and my friends want? We are havign fun, we are killing the targets. We have no reason to move. If we had no targets, sure we woudl move. But you are asking for a wealthy man to drop his income source to go sell hotdog in the beach because you live selling orange juice in the beach.

Its nonsense to listen to you!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! As everyone knows, we have a few active wardecs and merc contracts, which can sometimes distract us from the Derp Alliance war. Given the minimal Eve action during the holidays, we decided to spend some time playing with our bestest friends. So in the spirit of the holiday season...

Twas two nights before Christmas, when all through space
An orca and hulk, were mining in place
The lasers were firing at the asteroids with care
In hopes that U-MAD soon would be there.

The miners were scouting just one jump away
While visions of veldspar were filling their bay
And their corp mates in lowsec, playing with their caps
Had no clue we were about to spring our trap

When two jumps out, there arose such a chatter
As U-MAD charged-in, the miners were scattered
Away to the station, the hulk flew like a flash
Leaving the orca to burn into ash

We checked our logs to find who had final blow
Talked smack in local, linked the kill mail, created a show
Wardec mining was your first big mistake.
Typing “Orca Boosts are up!” in local…now that took cake!

Because this NPC Corp is better than most 'l33t' player corps, nerd. But it's cool, I understand you can only really pvp in high sec.

That is still far more than your elite forum pvp. There is a reason why peopel generally ignore anyone posting from an NPC corp.. because they are

a) cowards that post with an alt..
b) cowards that do not get into the real game because they are afraid of US wardeccign them

Which one are you

Many people say, come to null/low! Experience real PVP! So that makes me wonder, do I have this all wrong? Is flying through highsec not scary? Is PVP really easy here? Do highsec folks even know how to PVP? Do we even lift?

All I can say to those people is bring it! Wardec a small highsec merc corp. Dominate us! It will be easy. We'll submit to your ever present authority! Please folks, keep under-estimating your opponents! Fill our sorry wallets with the over confidence of your destroyed ships!

Lol...4 pages and still some people don't get it.

Having just spent about 3 months in null all I've learnt is that it is a fairly accurate depiction of feudal era life. These null players rely on army level maneuvers and being equipped with decent gear.

Highsec wars from my experience was more like greek era myrmidons. Top level fighters in high grade equipment that were feared and respected for their skills in combat. Highsec mercs occasionally exhibit these traits. Most of it in whores was just cheap ganks on the ignorant or unwary.

I don't presume to know the current merc landscape because it no longer interesta me a lot but if you have some kind fleet battles to show I will read. Do quite enjoy 10v10 fights.

Do not think we ever managed to have 10 player online at same time in our corp. Its usually a 3 v 4-10 (we being the 3) or a 3 vs 1 when we find a careless mission runner.

"I'm fine, nice to meet you. Can you tell me how to drive that car?"

"Come with me and I'll buy you a coffee at Starbux."
