[Day 33 of the 300 day war]

Have you ever thought about the similarities between space and the deep oceans? Imagine you’re a diver (Alt) sitting in perimeter watching the school of ships swirl around the Jita gate waiting for a chance to jump through the gate. As the school expands and contracts with every jump, the predators begin to gather. In space, these predators are war targets or worse yet, a ganker! As they prey on any ship that calls attention to it or shows any sign of weakness, the scavengers make their way to take what’s left behind.

As in most surreal day-dreaming fishing trips, she appeared suddenly... a beautiful specimen for a top predator. The Derp Tornado was swimming from gate to gate looking for easy prey. She eventually settled into a spot about 50 KM from the pulsating school…eerily lurking…waiting for that perfect prey. She was well positioned and confidently well out of reach from any other predator. On that same gate, an unassociated fleet of war targets were also sitting on the gate looking for something to snack on. So we did what any self-respecting PVP corp would do in this situation, we re-shipped into stealth bombers. We landed 30 KM from the Tornado, aligned, uncloaked, and engaged. One volley later, we were in warp to a nearby celestial.

But the story doesn’t end there. The Derps re-shipped to counter our little stealthy fleet. At first we thought the procurer was bait Roll After landing our fat fish in the boat, turns out it wasn’t bait after all. With chum in the water, the Derps came back to avenge the death of the tornado and procurer with an interceptor and two algos. They too were hooked and dragged into our boat.

At this point, we thought our day of fishing was over. The sky was overcast; we were sunburnt, dehydrated and tired of cleaning our catch. It was time for nice cold beer. And then the unexpected happened...the Derp Alliance re-shipped again. This time they brought a Dramiel and a Naga – great…more cleaning and gutting.

The fishing is still good in this spot. We’ve caught 31 fish weighing in at just under 3 Billion. We still have all our fishing boats, without a single loss. Now it’s time to enjoy some fish-n-chips. “Ma! Bring me my beer!” Lol

[Day 37 of the 300 Day War]

Locates work! If you think High Sec mercs have a life...well, we don't. We have on average 20-40 active wardecs at any given time, and yes, we have everyone of them on watch lists. So when a war target logs on, especially one that has been seen flying shiny ships, you can rest assure that a locate is running.

Yesterday, it seemed like there was a sale running on T3s. They were everywhere. Another alliance was moving them, when we scattered them. We then picked them off one by one. I think we killed 3 in a span of a few minutes. During this time, one of our locates comes back for a member of our Derp Alliance. Everyone needs some loving, so we send out an alt to see if he was active.

What did we find? That's right, another T3.

11 jumps later, we landed on him. He was dead the moment we jumped into system. I'm not proud to say it, but we may have blobbed him just a little. The mission rats didn't help matters. The amount of EWAR in the form of damps, ecm, webs, scrams, etc, may have even caused damage to his hull. Again, I say, I'm not proud of this kill, but it was funny at the time!

To his credit, he fought back the best he could. And for that, I raise my "cafe con leche" to you bro!

The Pursuit of Happiness has destroyed 35 ships totaling 4.0 B without losing a single ship.

I try not to post every little event in this war; however, the events of last week deserve an update to this post. So if it pleases and sparkles, stay-tuned.

Sinsmore, I never understood why people use alts to post on forums...shameful. Oh yes... you must have been a victim. Maybe even a Derp?

I'm so sorry you had to go through whatever it was that hurt you. I hope you have washed yourself clean of whatever unwelcomed brutality that assaulted you in highsec. Getting ganked by dirty highsec noobs is a horrible experience that no young beautiful classy pilot such as yourself should go through.

Now getting ganked by Nullsec profession gamers, now that's an experience to truly treasure! Those are real internet men! Classy men! Gank away classy men!

lol. never been ganked.

don't live I null sec.

why do I post with alts ? no point upsetting children who make its their aim to gank solo people.

Why post at all ?? Because your funny. Bragging about how elite you are ganking solos but we both know you will hide if there is something you cant gank easy. I seen lots of mercs hiding and playing station games we both know you will do lots of that.

Don't care who you or don't kill just find the whole 'look at me, someone upset me so we gonna gank them when they alone and tell everyone how elite we are' amusing. Keep postings so we can keep laughing at you P
