Awesome for Sov 0.0 and W-Space..

For low-sec and NPC 0.0, where players often go so they don't have to be bothered with defending stationary assets, not so great..

Would have no problem with the whole thing if low and NPC 0.0 would have conquerable CO's, where the "owner" can set the tax rate and collect it. (to a certain max, to avoid griefing.)
Would have no problem with these planets being less recourcefull as a result.

Large swats of low and NPC 0.0 are uninhabited..
Ownable structures out there in the nothingness will not cause people to lay claim to them, it will only give others more stuff to shoot at while out roaming.. it's simply not lucrative considering all the time and effort going into getting the CO's in place, defending and maintaining them.

This mechanic is clearly made for sov gamestyle.. why force it down the neck of people who go to places without sov in the first place..?
Reward the Sov players with better planets instead of (indirectly) taking content away from those who don't want to participate in that particular area of the game.

Should be the same in high sec as low/null.

Make all customs offices player owned and put some conflict back into highsec for the mid sized indy corps.

I would prefer low sec POSs are owned by the pirate faction NPC in the systems so to use them you have to work on your npc pirate standing
