I had a stack of ISK laying around, and some Iteron V hulls, and some bright spark had told me that a skilled pilot could get a real hold space boost from Cargo Optimizations IIS. So, not being mathematically inclined, I decided to see what would happen.

First thing. COIIs take up 150 calibration points, so I was only able to fit two. That gave me about 2000 m3 of hold space less than 3 X COIs. Adding a COI gave me 41,874.8 m3 of hold space. 3 X COIs gives me 38,433 m3.

My advice? Save your ISK.

This is why you always EFT T2 rigs before you buy them, especially the expensive ones.

Thank you, and I have no excuse except that the ISK was burning a hole in my pocket.

I have T2 cargo rigs on my T2 haulers as they are less likely to die.

The T2 hauler I used for PI in w-space has T1 rigs though, because I expect it to get caught one day.

yes t2 cargo rigs aint worth the cost. except on cloaky haulers... u can get over 10km3 on the cloaky hauler which makes it perfect for dropping sbu's

even t2 cargo rigs on a rorqual is not worth the 600mil it would cost

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

Hmm... good point. All my blockade runners (Crane) have T2 cargo rigs (10,214 m3). SBU is a better reason than carrying cruiser hulls.

I have T1 cargo rigs on my Rorqual, because sometimes it is more convenient to use T1 CCC rigs when doing a bunch of hauling, and I don't mind destroying T1 rigs to swap.
