1. Well nice... you can pay 1 month and have unlimited access to an "freighter alt"
Thats just damaging my business. Thanks CCP.

2. Why the hell is everybody using alts and stuff?!?
Have YOU ever heard of "multiplayer experience" or "roleplay" ? (unless you roleplay as an amarr bishop with like 100 slaves ^^)
Those alt-users (probably you) are just lazy greedy Evil *censored* Evil

why trusting webbers or cyno pilots if you got an ALT?!
why paying for transport if you got an ALT?!
why gaining anyones trust... you got an ALT!!
why mining alone if you got an ALT?!?!
why need help of other players... you got an ALT!!

with great ALT comes great reward!

3. CCP, is this the Gamestyle you prefer? Or is it just greed and ignorance?

So… that's 1 PLEX ($20) + transfer fee ($20) for 51 days and the hassle of starting a new account and transferring the characters (which wastes a day of training time) — in total $40 for 50 days — compared to 2 PLEX / $40 for 60 days of dual training?

Yeah, multiple character training still seems cheaper. Also, can you even get PLEX/game time if your buddy account is activated with a PLEX any more? I thought they removed that…

No. That's 1 PLEX + $20 for 80 days of training. You get 51 days on the new account and 30 days on the referring account.

You guys are all correct...
It is cheaper to pay for 1 account, than it is to pay for 3...

Unless you are PLEXing 1 account 3 times so you can train some useless alts.
Useless, I say? But... there's no such thing as a useless alt in EVE!

Except... they're all trapped on a single account. So what are you planning on using them for?
All the myriad of small tasks that don't require the alt to be logged in all the time. Trading, industry, R&D, PI, and yes even cyno alts (as alts on the second account).

So... what is the point of having somewhat trained alts trapped on an account?
That you gain access to a ton more slots and queues and timers than you would if you left those character slots empty. In fact, let's turn the question around: what's the point of having low-trained single-purpose alts on separate accounts?

So... you paid extra PLEX each month, to get them trained, and then you're going to pay extra to xfer them to another acct? Why not make them on extra accts to begin with?
No. You just pay extra PLEX each month to get them trained. No transfer-fees are needed unless you do them on second accounts (which is exactly what this lets you avoid), and you don't want to do that because it costs more — either due to the transfer cost or to keeping those accounts active for no good reason.

Do you guys see how the "throw more money at the game, because it's cheaper that way" logic really falls apart?
Since they actually end up hellalot cheaper, and since this has been shown again and again, the simple logic of arithmetic doesn't actually fall apart…

…but again, didn't they remove that offer if you activated through PLEX?

If you guys think an alt on the same account with two months of training doesn't do anything good, I just pity your lack of imagination. Twisted
Then again I won't tell you either, since I am a bit competitive. Roll

Why do we have to buy a plex/2nd account to activate training queues for each of our characters, especially seeing as we can only use 1 character at a time anyway. It just seems like money grabbing.

What is bad about having two characters training at the same time, on 1 plex, when you can only use 1 at a time?

Because, the way trainingtime works is an integral part of the skilling system. Since one is needed to decide to pay a second account/do MCT or just deal with one character training (which is a choice given, that's good) this should never change.

If it was like you want from the beginning, I'd have no argument against it.
