So I have been flying an Ishtar for a While now with Heavy Drones, in the past I would warp to 0km and Orbit something at or around 15km. Once I receive Argo I would launch Drones and they would start to engage and kill everything, over the past 2 days I have noticed when I do this my drones sit Idle or if they do engage they get destroyed. Nothing other than a Skill has changed on my part and this does not seem to be effecting anyone else who I talked to, could this be an issue on my account? or just bad luck on my part?

NPC AI was updated so that rats now change targets and occasionally target drones. The larger the drone the more NPCs will target it. This has essentially rendered heavy drones almost useless for PvE as everything will shoot them and even mediums aren't all that useful. Lights are kinda OK as only elite frigates will target them but they can be alpha'd depending on your skills, what ship you are flying, and how many elite frigates are on the field.

On the plus side sentry drones are now all the rage for PvE drone boats. Especially when used with a micro jump drive and a Dominix.
