What Drones to usr for PvP?

Hi,

Been having a lot of fun with the Tarnish lately, I do use it's drone bay. I've been using warriors for the time being, because they're faster and well I'm in a ceptor so I'll be slinging back and forth, but was also wondering if jobs are better for that little bit of DPS they have over the warriors. I don't know which to use for best results

Do you mean the Taranis? Generally you want warriors, mostly because some very fast frigs can outrun Hobgoblins. It's also nice to have some of your damage be explosive rather than Thermal/Kinetic from blasters/rails.

I second this, though if you know your going up against something like a BS id use hob's... but warriors are the standard for a taranis imo

Also suggesting Warriors, if you are flying something like a Comet which has space for 2 Flights a flight of additional hobs is nice if you come up against anything large and shield tanked or Amarr TII.

Your two drones are like 10% of your dps if you use damage. Just use ecm and have a chance to win without taking any damage in a frig 1 v 1/

if you're fighting something in a taranis you either have it scrammed (= it's not going to outrun hobgoblins) or you need to be escaping.

Yes, I did mean Taranis, sorry I composed the post on my mobile device and it's auto-correcting feature always likes to mess with Eve names and titles. will certainly try out ECM drones, I have never thought of those before, but if I ever use combat drones I will definitely use Warriors. But as mentioned, ECM drones are helpful in frig fights, and the drawback would be that the extra might be needed in a frigate fight, they're often very close! Thank you guys for the comments, I just thought I'd inquire on the forums instead of trying them out on Tranq or SiSi.

Hornets, Hobs and warriors are all equally valid in different situations really....
