This applies to Electronic Attack Frigates, Logistic Cruiser and Black-OPs-BS as well and still there ist only one ship available after training the respective skill.

Please don't get me wrong. I would love to see many more paintings on the various hulls, but please propose roles for them. And I mean really differnt roles (like the wish for EWAR-BS for every race or logistic-BS or command destroyers or coffee brewing titans and bbq dreads).

Surely the marauder changes alot with Rubicon, but I did not find any trace of information, that the old playstyle would not be possible anymore. Most possible conclusion would be that I just missed it. In that case, please link the articles to enlighten me.

What should a second Marauder do?
Just a different choice of weapon bonuses?
A combat marauder or an attack marauder?
A heavily PVP-focused BS?

On a more silly note I would really love to see a Roden Hyperion with 8 Missile slots.

I go with the T2 Hype as an example since I love the hull (even though the hardpoints are horrible)

Rhoden Shipyards -> Missiles! Because Rhoden Shipyards!

6 Highs. 4 Launcher Hardpoints -> 1 Utility High with Bastion Module
5 Mids as the T1 Version
7 Lows

Role Bonus:
100% Damage Increase to Cruise Missiles/Torps

Marauders Skill Bonus:
7.5% bonus to Armor Repair amount and
5% bonus to Cruise Missile and Torpedo explosion radius per level

Gallente Battleship Skill Bonus:
5% Bonus to cruise missile and torpedo damage.
10% bonus to the velocity factor of stasis webifiers per level


With either T2 Resists and meh'ish Base Shield/Armor/Structure
or the meh'ish resists Marauders have right now but a small boost to base HP.


Dronebandwidth maybe 40-75m3 since it's still a Gallente Boat (even though the missiles sure make it look like it isn't)

Also T2 Torpedo Abaddon would be neat!


CCP already stated after testing the 2nd marauder change in house and scrapping it that battleships would likely never see T2 resists again.
