How much CCTV is enough CCTV?

Theres basically not a single public spot (inside shopa included) in the whole city without a camera pointing towards you.. Only in toilet rooms even that i wouldnt trust.


Whilst this is true, it all depends on how they are used.

For example if you are attacked from behind and robbed you are not going to be able to describe your attackers, this is where CCTV can be of enormous help.

Many people who have commented crimes are arrested and convicted due to CCTV.

A good friend of mine is a policeman based in Salford Manchester. As far as he is concerned CCTV is a godsend as it has not only helped in capturing many criminals but also and get convictions.

In one area of kent in the last year alone a new CCTV hub has help to catch and convict nearly 3400 people.
