I meant the clasic industrial war spaceships in clasic good siencefiction, which halo used. another good compaison to ship design style would be from starship troopers. if you want your ships to look cheesy like from star trek then fly gelente or amarr.

This is exactly the reason I appreciated the looks of ships like the mining barges, Rorqual, Orca, Rokh, Charon, etc

They have a reality-based utilitarian aesthetic.

the caldari one looks fantastic. Love the bridge on the side, the missile pods (when they come). . . the flat pannels with the multi-texture. all great. Looks like the battleship from Tron (original).

the Amarr one will look good or bad depending on the size. but yah, bigger Magnate - which is sweet.

That design came up third or fourth in my list of what I was thinking the Naga would look like. It isn't the Horus, which was my first choice, but it'll grow on me. I definitely like the bridge on the side. Overall, it fits the Caldari's look-- asymmetrical and sharp-angled.

8 T2 cruise launchers, 1Rigor+skills your expl radius is under 250m, the average minipocket BS will have at least that when not running their mwd.

2TP's on your minipocket bs target will make it's sign radius explode over 350m not counting on their uber mwd saying "helaw" to your torps.

Why would it suck?

Doesn't it only get bonuses for siege launchers?

Also, the Naga looks really nice, too bad eve doesn't have spinal weapons cause otherwise it would have made a very nice railgun.

Honestly, if you want sleek and smooth fly Amarr or Gallente.

Caldari is about hard steel and function.
This will rival the Rokh for my favorite ship im sure.

It looks like a ship for battle.

Is it just me, or does the new Caldari BC, the Naga/Ascog REALLY look like a Cricket bat? maybe a pair of them glued together?

1. Oracle
2. (tie) Talos/Tornado
4. Naga

We'll see whether those rankings hold up once the ships are actually in the game...
