[Question] Perfect Rokh Training

Assuming you go for the cybernetic skill first so you can wear +5 implants before you start training other skills, does anyone know how long does it take to train for a perfect Rail Gun Rokh including light, medium, sentry drone, shield and hybrid weapon rigging skills?

I once wanted to train perfect perfect skills for Apocalypse navy issue and checked on Evemon how much time it will take with +5 implants etc and including every skill which will benefit me.

Over 3 years lol

thing is you don't need perfect skills just get good support skills, T2 tank and good gunnery skills....

Interesting, the reason why I am asking is because I am considering starting an Caldari alt that exclusively runs Incursions, so my main can stay in null sec and do other things.

It's either a Perfect Heavy Missile Tengu or Rail Gun Rokh for me.

*In My Opinion*

A Tengu will be much more versatile for you, in a shorter amount of time. Rokh is such a 'niche' ship.
That said: Incursion FC's generally want gun ships in their fleets.
Missile PvE in all other aspects, is still a common and good thing.


Tengu skills would also open up Falcon, Onyx, Gila. And lead to Rattle, Golem, Scorp, etc

Basically the Rokh helps with those ships as well, Caldari in general, but the missile skills are a totally separate skill path.

I own both ships and they are very near perfect. Haven't undocked the Rokh in....years.

You can use Evemon to make a skill plan and see how long it takes for pretty much anything. I don't think I could live without Evemon Smile

I agree that the Rohk is not the best PvE ship out there. However once you have good Rokh skills its not too hard to move over to a Nightmare, which is excellent for incursions and general PvE against Sansha and Blood Raiders.

While the Tengu is amazing for PvE I feel that the CNR or Dominix is probably a better long term choice as they have better damage selection and I have a hunch that the Tengu (or at least the accelerated ejection bay subsystem) will probably be nerfed a bit when the T3s come up for rebalancing at some point in the future.

I use a Mac, I can't use Evemon. There are other tools for Mac, but they are not as accurate.

I am more interested in Rokh at the moment because my main flies a near perfect Heavy Missile Tengu. The last time I ran incursions properly was about 10 months ago, I didn't even have proper T3 skills back then.

Ah I remember the days I played Eve on a 13" Macbook Pro before it died... I couldn't use Evemon... If I remember right you could use EFT but it was some crazy long process that I never bothered with. I think Macs are awesome but I refuse to game on them once I got a PC.
