Is it ok to report people if they offend and harass me with homophobic terms?

Like I am gay, and people call me "man" and "bro"..

I dont like that, im not a man...


Same goes when people is straight and we call them fags, we get reported..

So if you call me a man or a bro or some other homophobic term im reporting you.

Fixed. Because no, those are at best heteronormous, slackerish or infantile, but not homophobic.

Or what guide and or book are we following here to consider fags an offensive word?? Where does it say, fags is offensive?


Cause if its only based on someone feelings in particular, I can just go and report everyone for any word claiming that it offends my feelings in a particular way.. And obviously being ccp an non racist corporation they would warn and ban them just like they do with people that call others a ***.. Or wouldnt they?..

Just trying to bring it down to a clear point that everyone understands..

CCP, is it the meaning behind the word, or the word itself?

If it the word, then you should make a list of all the prohibited words.
If its the meaning then you should have a psychologist or someone with a certified degree to better judge the meaning behind words like this before you issue a warning or a ban.

Cause if its just some random ccp gm who has no qualifications at all in this field then we can always disagree and the warning or ban being lifted... In court my word against your word voids all accusations.

Seeing as how that is a common use for it, it's not particularly stupid, no.
Whether or not you are offended by it personally is pretty much completely irrelevant. While it's admirable that you try to take ownership over the term, you're not quite there yet so its derogatory status remains. It is also admirable that you are working towards an orientation not being treated as something offensive, but you'll have a tougher fight there since differences have always been used as roots for offensive language.

I don't condone homosexuality or the lifestyle associated with it. But, I think everyone has a right to live their life how they please.

Those offensive terms are associated to homosexuality, and therefore when you use it, in any sort of way, it is offensive to everyone. Not just homosexuals.

It's easy to point fingers at how 'stupid' something is until you're the one being segregated.

You just made your point, i can call ppl fags, its not against the law.
