It may be true, but your project didn't really prove any of that. You jumped to conclusions. You let your opinion color your results

You are on a slippery slope here saying by adding that regardless part. Unwanted by whom? We have to be careful when toying with the sandbox to meet your playstyle.

Why on Earth would I want to do that? This is the type of argument made when you are losing. You tell someone that disagrees with your whole framework to a. agree with the framework and b. carry out the project in a different way.


I am starting to believe you have sold your account. You have been extremely emotional for the past week or so, lashing out at others quite a bit. That's not like you. Protect your reputation, it's what's most important to you.

By the way, I disagree with the project not with you as a person. Do not take my comments the wrong way.

Chribba clealy demonstrated that they are bots, or macros, that are the cause of the constant jita spam. He did so with clear empirical evidence! It's physically impossible for someone to post spam as seen in Jita, with exact repeating intervals. He has shown, without doubt, that these spammers cannot possibly be humans. They are in fact macros. Most of us suspected as much, but he proved it.

I imagine the very fact that Erotica is attempting to dispute factual evidence without bothering to gather any herself is because she is in the same boat as these spammers. Nothing but a scammer looking to profit in EvE by doing the least possible, at the expense of anyone that falls for her lies.

I for one hope CCP does eventually do something to combat these spammers. My block list is starting to get rather large!

I honest to God think that telling nooblets to close local in Jita should be in the tutorial. So much pain could be avoided with that simple addition.

The repeating interval part is what gets buried and people run with the rest of it. That's a dangerous mob mentality. Most people know I don't use any macros. But it's easy to get in a mob and throw out good people with the bad. Just remember that this is the most open sandbox game there is. If you constantly try to shrink it down to only playstyles that you agree with, it will turn into just another game that withers and dies.

Came here expecting something else... for a truly interesting spam concept... set up 1000 bots, all which buy 1 isk worth of ore from some poor miner's sell order. 100 isk broker fee min. for each transaction. Wonder how long it would take to bankrupt someone?

I'm claiming this as my idea so WHEN this becomes a thing, everyone can thank me. I like the term Brokering... any other suggestions?
