Time to bid adieu and say goodbye to my fellow OOPE neighbors and neighborets. Been around since roughly 2007 and have been King of OOPE for almost as long, the time has come where I just can't log in anymore. There are no gripes or whines, I found the game quite fun for what it has to offer. There is no shutting down 58 accounts in protest, just the one. I've done what I wanted to and now I'm bored, simple as that.

People can still find me in Planetside 2 as TR Waterson. And it looks like I'll be present in SC when that comes out so I may be making my move to take over their OOPE ASAP.

So I leave you with this song, and let the bloodsports commence to determine who shall take the crown and rule of OOPE, also known as Eve forums shitting grounds.

Indeed you are/were the king of OoPE, your gudposts were needed to make up for our continuous cancerous shiptoasting.
Is there anything I could do to change your mind- like going back to GD, helping you with PleX or something like that?

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I would throw out the obligatory "can I have your stuff" but frankly, that seems off color and I probably don't have the skills to use it anwway. Best to you where ever the winds take you.

It has been a good run there old mate. Many a great agreement and disagreement on the old forums.

If I did not take a long break from the game we would be rivals for that king of OOPE Pirate According to EVE search I have dropped from #50 to #70 in the all time post list. But I believe you will hold that spot for awhile. It would be cool if Chribba made a top poster list for each forum sub section Bear

OOPE is a great forum in the otherwise bleak set that EVE provides.

Your banter will be sorely missed.

Guess I still have a chance to respond. Account said I was at 1 day. In any case, it really has nothing do to with funds, it's more of the fact that I've been paying to post for the last year while I logged in to change skills and now I can't even be bothered to do that much. And as much as I prefer this OOPE over some of the others I just can't justify the expense to post on a forum.

There are several low sec systems located next to my home system of Kulelen. Somewhere in one of these systems I have dropped off a Charon. This Charon holds several cruisers, destroyers, and stealth bombers of varying faction along with the parts I used in their builds. This ship is located at one of my safe spots and a probe will be required to find it. But beware, for there are dangers lurking in the shadows of those systems.

Just FYI. RvB and other eve alliances got groups on the PS2 server Mattherson. Most of us play as VS (spandex ftw) but some ppl got alts on the other sides too.

Try as I might I just have a really hard time getting into the spandex. Because of the Spandex, all of the classes look like they have anorexia, especially the infiltrator. Visually bugs the crap out of me. I also have a hard time in the Magrider. My friend does better driving it but we both agree that it is way too slow and it's probably the weakest of all 3 MBT's. And finally, you have a lot of weapons with the same DPS as our TR guns but you trade off ammo capacity for no bullet drop. Being used to the Trac5-S, I tend to run out of ammo quickly in the Solstice SF in the middle of shooting somebody and they end up killing me instead.

If they ever do server transfers I may consider it though, mostly because I want to get my NC and VS off of their current server but I probably wouldn't spend a whole lot of time on them.
