So I know CVA and friends allow neuts to trade in their territory. What other Alliances will allow neutrals to dock? Or is CVA pretty much it?

Or maybe some blocks will allow me to petition for Blue status?

Thank you

I've been allied with Goons before so please don't tell me how Goons will welcome me.

I would expect alliances would prefer their own members to profit from them, there's nothing stopping you from trying to rip off their members in NPC stations though.

Profiting and ripping off are not synonymous. Any trade is an equitable exchange of priorities. I try to maximize my profit margins of course, but I also want to encourage repeat business which pays more over the long run. So the prices I offer are meant to encourage trade, not take advantage of the unwary.

Truth is, most of the block trading I've experienced in null was "rip off" prices. Either over priced goods for sale or buying at bottom feeder prices. If the product was even available at all. In CVA space it was better, more active trading means narrower margins. But shortages still existed and a bit of gouging.

After being in both types of alliances, it's seems to me that the attitude that opening trade will worsen prices is an error.

The issues with allowing neutrals to dock far outweigh any benefit that could be gained by increased trader activity.

What sort of trading? Often times one or more major alliance/coalition will be deployed into NPC stations. For instance, right now, Goons, Test, and various hangers on are all deployed in G-0Q86. I suspect there are chances to make a few isk in there. Just make sure you know what your doing.

If you want to make money, you could import Domis/sabres/onerios/scimis to goonswarm's staging areas. It's surprising how much people are willing to pay on the spot.

Only Providence is NRDS, but I wouldn't do that because NRDS is a bad model.

Your other best option is to join a renter alliance. You basically pay for a system every month, so just pick the cheapest, that should be around 1 to 3 bil a month. From there, you can access their trade hubs and flood the market like a little boss. Make sure the profits cover the rent and don't gouge too much or you'll get noticed. People don't like it when their renters seed their stations, even though it's stupid -- that's from my experience. There's two main renting alliances that covers the whole south and afaik goons plan to have one that should cover the north-west-southwest.
