I, along with the help of a couple of others, are looking to put together a masquerade ball event on the 19th of this month. The exact timing and such of the event will be made available over the next couple of days, but I figured I should give as much of an advanced notice as possible.

As part of the event, I am considering putting on a silent auction. Given the short notice and the work needed to make a proper auction work, I am not going to be asking anyone to provide anything for the auction. There will be a single item up for auction that I will be providing. The exact details of said item are still being worked out, but the funds raised by the auction will be going towards the orphanage project being undertaken by the Ebon Rose.

Again, the details of location and exact timing of the event will be forthcoming in the next day or two.

Given the time frame, I would likely be the one picking up, if that is necessary. A donation of a just a ship would be both impressive and much appreciated.

Interesting.

I generally tend to avoid public gatherings, or large groups of people in general, especially ones in Empire space. But this one seems to have an admirable angle with the charity auction. I may have to keep tuned and go shopping for an outfit next time I'm in Jita.

This is the first update of many likely to come.

Regarding the alluded to silent auction. I am working out the exact method of how it will work, but at this time I would like to announce what will be available for auction.

I will be offering up a Megathron-class battleship for auction. I am planning on providing the ship fitted though I am still working out the exact details of the fitting.

Also up for auction will be another battleship hull that was graciously donated. As I have little experience with the hull type in question, this one will auctioned unfitted and unassembled. I am going to hold off giving details on the exact hull type at the moment other than to say that it is a 'naval' variant.

More details regarding the ball and silent auction shall be coming.

I have a number of war criminal tags, a few preserved bodies of famous immortal war criminals, a famous head of a slaver, a prized hound from a prime Sarum estate said to be the walking grounds of the Empress herself. Two vessels overpowered and claimed during the war effort, flagships of several notable war criminals.

All willing to contribute to this auction and invoke a slightly more enticing visit from the power players in the IGS.

Else I see little reason for them to attend or make their presence known here.

But now I ask, which political party does your auction favor? And will the location of the auction play a part? For the definition of "war criminal" changes between certain borders. I could easily be auctioning head of a local hero or fellow immortal pilots' bodies. Their plundered ships, refurbished and cleaned up, halls still echoing with the death screams of executed crew/passengers.

Are we allowed armed bodyguards and soft clones for representation?

Are there measures in place to safeguard all guests? May I take a look at these measures in private?

More Character Customization :: Especially compared to what we had in 2003...
