Beware of counterfeit mining permits. A legitimate New Order mining permit only costs 10 million isk. You might pay 200m only to find out it is phony. To be on the safe side, you may want to buy a TEST permit as well as a New Order permit. Goons also have some sort of permit, but you'd have to ask them for details. Last I heard, miners were sending the Mittani 500m isk and asking him to refund if they overpaid. I forget the exact amount, but he sent back the overpaid balance.

Just don't forget that permits are not "pay to play." You must still update your bio and live the Code. Please see www.minerbumping.com for more information.

NEWS - JUST IN

COST (My corporation) has just struck a deal with the Southerners to protect you against the likes of New Order, Testies and Goons with a permit that only COST(s) (see what I did there) 150mil per miner to guard against hi-sec ganking!
What you do is pay me the money then you will be escorted to a jump off point and taken to your own slice of null-sec heaven where, although you will have to be a wee bit careful (null sec rats), you can mine to your hearts content.
You will not have to worry about buying other permits as NO, tets and Goons live in hi-sec and won't come out to null sec to find you or hassle you

Well that explains it.

Was mining in a throwaway barge (retri, dont care if it goes bang for the cost) on one of my alts. Went to have a smoke and came back to a free kill mail and some loot with my ship almost in structure.

You realize that makes no sense right... They used 13 people to gank one exhumer... about the only thing green in that transaction was the isk killed to loss ratio... and then only because I was podded, which it doesn't appear they have been that successful in doing to others.

Come on guys have a little compassion, test has been getting beat up all up and down the universe. Typically I would be against ganking but clearly test needs some wins, even if it is clubbing baby seals on the beach.
