Not sure we would need new ships. Modules for rorqual and orca would be enough.

After centuries of debating and justifying... Break Cloaks tm

Yes yes and again YES.

50 % bonus to strip miner yeld per level.
BIG, GIGANTIC cargo hold.

It needs to be using some "capital reconfiguration module" with 15 minute cycle during this time you cannot jump/warp but you get additional 100% bonus to your strip miners.

I want this kind of ships sieged on nullsec belts ;)
Base hull price 4b.

it would look so good on kill mail :)

As low as possible.
Lower mineral prices are lower cost of ship hulls.
Lower ship hulls - you can kill/lose more of them for the same price.

Eve is about destroying ships not mining roids.

good point. plu sit will hurt them botters.

And drop the bottom out of industry completely, meaning that the only people who will bother to mine will be the bots, since every player would make more money belt ratting in highsec.

ye good luck with that unless you're gonna mine, miners don't mine to build ships they do it for profit, building ships is extra profit, but yea let's do your stupid idea.

We have a dedicated bulk miner. It's called a Hulk.

this

add in a rorq for bonuses and some haulers (Itty 5 is fine here) and you're golden in low/null/w-space.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Great, so now I can get my shiny ships ganked by T1 destroyer packs even cheaper than before.

Yeah, moon goo is the problem. Get T2's down to half what they cost now, and you'll see a lot more good fights.

Better idea: a destroyer sized vessel designed to fit a probe (maybe a cloak too?) and 1-2 strip miners with no bonuses. In addition, give it a special module that can refine in the field, while mining is going on, straight from it's ore hold (which is maybe twice the size of a Venture's) into its Mineral hold (10-30k m3). The venture is good for gas mining in WHs, but not so good at ore mining because of the ore hold size restrictions and the massive isk/m3 differences between gas and ore. This new ship would refine as it goes, at a refining efficiency somewhere between the refining array and the medium intensive refining array (so 35-75% efficiency), so it could stay out in the field (wormholes) much longer without worrying about filling up it's bay.
