Command Ships Skill Changes

I just noticed that Command Ships had its pre-reqs changed sometime between now and when I played last. Anyone know how this will affect me? I have Command Ships to lvl 2, but do not have a handful of the required skills for the skill. Will I be able to use my command ship? Will I be able to level the skill?

Right. The skill requirements are just there to inject the skill, not to use or train it further.

See all of the above for your specific Questions, however I recommend that if you are intending on doing any form of boosting from your command ship that you get those skills anyways. They are the base Leadership skills, not the ones that improve the specific links(which some people seem to think they are).

Armored Warfare - 2% more Armor HP per level
Seige Warfare - 2% more Shield HP per level
Skirmish Warfare - 2% more Agility per level
Information Warfare - 2% more targeting range per level

Who wouldn't want 10% more Armor HP, Shield HP, Agility and Targeting range for their squad?

Well I was just training out command ships for my general "get tech 2 to lvl 4" plan. If I ever have time to play with a gang, I definately a, going to be training those skills (think I'm only missing Armored Warfare and Skirmish Warfare to lvl 4, they are at 2 atm).
