So if I War Decl a corp, and a particular member leaves, does my kill rights to that particular member stop at that very moment, or do I get lets say 24 hours to hunt down my target ?

As soon as a member leaves the corp/Alliance the war is declared upon, he/she is effectively no longer part of the War.

To clarify, its instant for members (players) but if a corp leaves an alliance there is a 24 hour cooldown period where they are still active targets.

Actually now when a corps leave the period of the war you had with the alliance.. stick with the corp. So if you still had 4 days of war with said alliance and a corp leaves... you get 4 days with the corp that left as well.

Sadly there is no additional stasis on users jumping ship when receiving a war dec. IMHO if a user tries to leave a corp with active wardecs their stasis period should be one week, not 24 hours. You should not be able to so easily duck wars this way.

If you have kill rights on a player you don't need to wardec their corp to hunt them.

Also: if they haven't dropped their rolls with their corp they still have to wait 24 hours to leave the corp... and thus they are still valid targets for 24 hours.

Wars should be against Organizations, not individual players.

You can drop rolls instantly since Odyssey.

I would love it to on their character history as 'desertion' or 'cowardice in the face of the enemy' though...

You can drop corp without the 24 hour stasis. I don't know the answer to Rhandom's question, though.

No, your rights end in optimal+2*falloff

You can only drop corp in a station, so unless you've both gotten beyond The Door, not possible.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

I thought you could drop rolls instantly if you had a bit too much to drink before you went to the bakers.

I do this for many reasons. I do it because I believe it is right. I do it because I will profit by it. These all consolidate into one reason: I do it because I can.

If you're mid combat, then you have a legal limited engagement. You keep fighting.
