yes i call the ganker lazy
some ppl just have to much to do in their life to travel 30 jumps manually so i use autopilot while i use my time to do other stuf
but the ppl that are camping at gates abviously have nothing but time on their hands ..

i want the auto pilot to be able to train to shorter distances becouse i want to save time
not becouse i wanna be safer becouse if i wanna be safer i will just warp myself

i just do not see what the problem is . why even a single person is against this ??
are you just a hater and do you want to make life as hard as possible for everyone .

why is it that you want it to stay at 15km .. anyone who carry's anything valuable will not use autopilot anyway
and it is basicly for me i want to use it to get from point a to point b with a shuttle ..

maybe make it a shuttle autopilot skill i dunno

I have too much spare time? isnt that why I play computer games? im afraid your lack of time commitment will and should continue to cost you ships. its your punishment for being so entitled to things others work hard for.

what if autopilot landed you at 175km, waited for the ship to slow to 25% velocity, then warped again to 0? This way there would still be a larger time gap with bigger ships, but it wouldn't be so tremendously different. You'd be visible on grid for a while. Anyone chasing you could easily catch up to you, and could wait in ambush if they saw the direction you were going (unless you cleverly set up a tricky autopilot path).

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

+1 Supported. Twisted

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

shure you can increase the lvl 0 skill distance to 20km but not the lvl V to 12.5 at most 10km

I would still have plenty of time to pop you if you landed 7500km from the gate.

The point is that you should be playing the game, I make my living off people who don't play the game.

You say you don't have time to sit there for 30 jumps, then send it via courier.

If you are only transporting yourself then get a jump clone with no implants and have your medical station be your destination in case you do get podded.

i don't have the standing for a jump clone ...
i am not a trader so i do not need it for hauling items ..

i do however have tons of items laying around everywhere that i wanna sell . but even the most optimised route would be over 100 jumps to get to all places .. so yea for something that useless i would like shorter autopilot times.

so basicly atleast 1 more afk traveler would be added to the game as would normally dilligent haulers become more tempted to use autopilot also increasing the number of afk travellers ..
so basicly it would increase your source of income ...

i do not really see why you are against this didn't think about that did you?
