Cannot connect to game!

Was playing, as usual, and was about to dock. Then, suddenly POOF! Client did close socket.
Ok, i said, let's reconnect.

Server seems to be on, pass ok, all ok.

Tries to estabilish connection, but takes a bit too long.

Ok, said to myself, stay calm.
Checked firewall. All ok.
Run repair. All ok.
Go on Eve main site, to see if there's some announcement about server being down, DDos, Flood, God's anger. Nothing to see.
Try again.
Same sh*t.
Try to run directly.
Same sh*t.
WTF?

Someone has any ideea what's going on? I'm not very ...into computer problems, so pls, can someone help me out?

Why is that thread getting so many responses? This is the right forum for probems with the game.

BTW this is the same pathetic ack of communication that I have experienced with Bizzard and WoW. They have a forum section with maintenance and status updates that they rarey use, and if, then ony for the weeky schedued stuff that everybody knows about. They have an important-news window on the login screen, but when some unschedued maintenance occurs, they tend to ONY publish it on freakin Twitter!

Now here we have the annoying auncher that I would love to skip, but if I run the game via exefie, I have no sound, except that one time after the cient crashed (WTF?!), eve.exe takes an eternity to do anything.
So the auncher connects to the web source for atest news, but no, no info there that a whoe hosting service fel away, and I'm going nuts here trying al kinds of stuff on my system.

Why can't people learn to communicate propery? (Especiay to paying customers.) It's like the biggest freakin problem on the panet!
