Add a high slot to pod for a cloak module for cloaking your pod. Fitting service is required as usual after losing your ship to fit the cloak module.

Usually you add some reason as to why you want something done, or why you think it would be a nice addition to the game.

I can't honestly see why a pod should have a high slot, let alone have enough fitting for a cloaking device, it is, after all, an escape pod.

Let alone you want to make it have to dock after you lose a ship before you can fit it with a cloaking device, (I assume that's what you meant) so why not just use the noobship you get for free?

fit a cloak to your noobship.

Done!

WTF...why? No. I'm not seeing a need for this. A pod holds you in pod goo, your ship holds your pod and your ships holds mods.

Slots on shuttles next? lol.

What he said.

From RP perspective: There isn't room on the pod to fit modules due to the pod's duel purpose - Escape Pod & Ship Management Environment.

From a game perspective: They would need to redevelop a bunch of the more entrenched game code just to facilitate the wishes of one person. The cost/gain on that simply isn't worth it.

From a personal perspective - No! That's just dumb!

I do have to hand it to you though. I've been reading this forum for a fair long time and I've not seen this one before. Congrats for coming out with something original to me but -1 for the idea.

Same here...it's original if nothing else and we need that in F&I. Hell I'll give you a +1 just for thinking outside of the pod, opps I mean inside of the pod but not for this idea. Sorry.

Not supported.

No reason for it that I can think of.

A pod does not "fit" anything and is not a ship.

Read up about the difference of a ship with a crew and a capsule.

Also I can not see a single event where one would need to cloak a pod.

Pods already insta-warp and have ridiculously small sig radius, so why would they need cloaks?

AFKing your pod in space after losing your ship because all the gates are camped in an attempt to wait them out?

Ultimate in cheap AFK Cloaky camping?

Nope. Pods are last ditch escape vessels and should remain as such.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
