Question for capital pilots: how do you afford your ships?

Hello.
I am currently a subcap pilot, thinking of getting into capital ships.
Capital pilots, how did you raise enough ISK to buy your capitals? Did you grind in anomalies with a couple of accounts at 100m ISK/hr?
Did most of the ISK come from grinding, or metagaming?

Ironically, I made my money from building and selling capitals to said pilots.

... isk just seems to appear in my wallet tbh...
and it isnt so much the cap that costs for your first cap... its all those nice little skill books, and getting cyno alts set up etc

Do you use a ship like a tengu, a carrier is like... 4 of them for a fitted one?

I could afford one long before being able to fly it to alliance standards. For a new player the skilling time can only be sped up so much ...

Really, as a member of an elite pvp alliance in a coalition that exists to destroy gsf, you should really be asking

How do I afford a supercapital (preferably a titan) to dedicate to progodlegend's noble aim of causing the goons' 0.0 dream to be over?

and

Will I be able to use it in the upcoming VFK by February campaign?

Dunno tbh, ive just allways had the isk i need

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

If you had the ISK to buy your current character, how is funding a capital a problem? Or is this a troll?

The thing is with EVE is that once you spend a couple of years playing it you are usually better off than you think, I constantly find all sorts of crap lying around .

Market trading is an easyish way of making lots of money or as you said grinding anomns in 0.0 (although if you only making 100mil and hour with a couple of accounts you're doing it wrong) tbh with 2 accounts you should be looking around the 200mil an hour mark in 0.0.

Caps are great for moving all the collective junk you collect in 0.0 around as well. They should be sponsered by American Express as you shouldn't leave home without one.

my capitals:
1st - Rorqual - mined ABC in 2010, took about 1-2 month (4 chars with hulks), 3-4 hours a day
2nd - Thanatos - farmed Drone Hordes in 2012 (1 char), 1-2 hours a day
3rd - Nyx (+ holder) - farmed 10/10 Drone Hive Mother escalations (2-3 chars) for like 4-6 months 1-2 escalation a day.

Never trust 0.0 people that high-sec gives more ISK. It's only true if you compare the best high-sec ISK source with the worst and stupidiest 0.0 farming

The contention is that it gives more ISK/effort.

Try Null sec PI, with 6 planets, making P2s, you can easily make 400-500M per month, and only have to drop by your planets once a week tops.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Andski— this character was inactive for a long period and doesn't have that many SP.

Capitals get destroyed, if you upgrade your clone (with the exception of flying T3s) skill points do not.
