That's a pretty damn steady trend of not dying.

Now just you hold on a minute there sparky. Are you trying to use actual FACTS to prove something on the EVE-O forums?
People here wont hold for that kind of new fangled thinking. The folks round here like their arguments from the heart. You know, opinion, hyperbole and hearsay.

You mean the 21-05-2009 drop?

IIRC that was that massive patch fail that killed the game for a week.

Games liek GTA 5 do cause that. It happened when diablo 3 was released, and before that when Skyrim was released. USual time to recovery is around 1 month.

That is funny! All this "going back to school" and GTA 5 stuff is not affecting the World of Tanks server.

Am I the only one wondering if he is sitting in an out of the way station or a belt wondering why there are not hundreds of people joining him? Or maybe flying straight for hours?

WoT and other more "interactive" games have a fun of their own and cater to active gameplay.

In EvE once you are hurting your wrists due to too much T2 production setup, setup a couple of orders and maybe started a couple of batch BPC copies / hulls production there's not really a lot else to do.

Sure you could pretend doing a L4 is anywhere close to quality time spent, or you could tease yourself with a nice 3 hours gruesome wait staring at a gate you are camping with your 2-3 alts.

But no, they aren't really worth your time. So off you go and play WoT while your 3 alts are 3 less heads in the concurrent online players graphs.

I had noticed the population seems to have dropped recently. By about 6pm GMT is used to be about 50k+ but now it's floating at about 35k. It could be people playing GTA V or something else. I know personally I'm ****** off with all this unnecessary ship 'rebalancing, the 'extra materials' that have come from that, and prices of numerous items and lines that have been driven down by CCP's decisions. Maybe others feel a little like me.

The sooner that CCP stops pandering to the nullsec community quite so much and starts fixing things that are actually broken the happier we will all be.

So what you are saying is that, Eve Online has become a "sideline" game. Interesting! It is my feeling to.

That's correct a patch error. It was a mess for couple of hours. Some one screws that one up at ccp.
