Tengu skills / Please help

So i just got my Tengu, and flying like a dream but..
Do i have to train the Caldari Strategic Cruiser to level 5?

I dont use overheart at all, so does it have any benefits at all? Mainly i will focus on getting all Subsystem to V first? But i need advice from someone with more exp! :)

if your not gonna overheat, train all your subsystem skills to V instead. if you ever feel like pvping and overheating train thermodynamics and get any relevant skill up.

It's entirely fine to fly a tengu for PVE purposes with strategic cruiser only at 1 since you're not going to overheat anything 99.9% of the time. For PVP I wouldn't try without at least strategic cruiser 4.
