Switching between client windows on Mac

I have some questions regarding switching 'active' windows when using multiple clients in windowed mode with MiniMac - I want to clarify my question by comparing my windows machine and mac

Windows

1. On my Windows PC, let's say I have two clients running both in windowed mode (let's call them Window A and B)

2. Let's also say I have a target locked on both clients

3. Now, to activate a module on target on window A, I hover my mouse over the module on window A and press ONE click - the module activates.

4. I want to activate a module on my window B too, so I move my mouse cursor to the module on window B and press ONE click - the module activates.

now compare this with,

Mac

1. Identical setup - two clients running, both in windowed mode. Window A and B

2. Target locked on both clients (window A & B)

3. To activate a module on window A, I have to click on window A to make it 'active window' and then click on the module to activate it in game - TWO clicks

4. To activate a module on window B, I now have to click on window B to 'switch' to this window, and then click on the module to activate it in game - TWO clicks

Basically, on my Windows PC I can directly target lock, activate a module, press D-scan or whatever just by placing my mouse cursor on the desired button and click ONCE.

On my Mac, I have to click once to 'switch' to that client/window, and then click again to lock/activate a module/D-Scan or whatever.

I only got around to use MiniMac recently so I'm a noob when it comes to using Mac, so I'm hoping that there is some kind of a setting or anything I can twick in Mac OS so that I don't always have to click to switch a window.

What it boils down to is that I have to constantly double click on things back and forth between two clients, and this often leads to misclicks/unpressed clicks whatever. Not a big issue in general, but it's pretty bad when I misclick and deactivate a warp disruptor or I click only once and the client doesn't register it so I miss the target - this sort of things.

Anybody experience this & knows how to get around it?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't think there is. Many Mac apps work that way, including the finder and Firefox. For example right now I can see a finder window partly behind my Firefox window. If I click on a file in the finder window all that happens is that window comes to the front. I got to click a second time to highlight the file. If I then click on the Reply button in the Firefox window all that happens is the window comes forward. I got to click a second time to actually be able to write a reply.

In eve things get even worse if you want to do a secondary (or right) click: You got to click in the eve window, move the mouse, then do the secondary click.

try command-click

it will allow you to interact with unfocused windows without raising them.

seems to work with windows I've tried it with, but I haven't tested it with the eve client

command-scrollwheel works too
