I was refining ore the other day in a station my alliance owns and I noticed something. Even though i should exceed the 100% and reach the hard limit for refine, i was only getting 95% net.

Refining V
R. Eff. V
Ore IV
RX -804(?) implant

Since the station has a 45% refinery, does that make the hard limit 95% and not 100%?

You sure the alliance or corp didn't set a tax?

there is a "we take" of 5%, but i would figure that would apply after the net yield.

There are only two ways to lose minerals when refining:
* Poor skill ("unrecoverable").
* Tax ("we keep").
So if you have 0 in the unrecoverable column, it is a perfect refine.

EDIT: Some people may not realize the second column is hidden until the window is resized.

That resize thing made me think ccp was trolling for the first year or so I played eve. Fun times.

95% is that you calulating? Or is it the % shown in the station?
Because the refining % in station is scrapmetal, not ore refining. Or at least it was last I checked.
So if you don't have scrapmetal skill or it's only lvl1 then that is most likely why you only see 95%

I did the math and I do receive the 100% refine. However the Net Yield showing is processed AFTER taking the "Tax/We Take".

It would be good if the refinery stated that more clearly ie:

Base Yield (station): ie 50%
Net Yield (Skills - NO TAX): ie 100%
Tax (Standings): ie 5%
Total Yield: ie 95%

[Table]
Material | Total | Tax | You Receive

That looks absolutely correct, you have a 5% tax to pay, hence 95% returns.
