just stop, you are demented

I do find the need to hurl insults at people on these forums because they are of differing opinions very interesting.

During any debate or argument it normally implies you have no valid stance for your point of view other than "because"

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

I in turn find that people who kneejerk misapply their sophomoric understandings of argumentation and logic are pedantic windbags with little of actual value to say, thereby limiting them to unnecessary, misapplied, and ineffective refereeship.

Anecdotal, Malc has been nothing but polite in any conversation with me and with topics covering hisec.

Said it before and I will say it again. We do work with CCP in regards to issues like the most current one but please do not discount what we do if you do not hear the conversations we have behind closed doors. Wait to see if there is an effect, a change.

If we make no difference, nothing gets better, this CSM term then it our fault, not the process, not the office, our fault.

m

People are unlikely to believe the CSM is doing anything behind closed doors to voice the concerns of players if members are publicly saying things like
"1) CCP has the right to give away Ishukone Scorpions to anyone they want to, for any reason. They are a promotional item.

2) The choice of who they give them to (or don't give them to) has consequences in the community."

The CSM is the voice of the players and if the players can not hear it they will presume that they have gone mute. Much like the need for CCP transparency, the CSM needs to be even more transparent, especially during a crisis.

You forgot 3) "While 1) and 2) are true, who and how the ISWs have been given to has made a lot of people [including most of the CSM] very angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad idea."

It's okay, though. I know selective quoting and bias confirmation is kind of your "thing".

As I quoted above
3 was "3) The recent SOMER-gate uproar means the consequences of this earlier interaction have magnified significance."

So maybe you could try that one again or maybe you would like to refer me to Ripards first blog post on this for clarity?

Honestly yes some CSM members were pissed about this but they mostly posted elsewhere, the loudest voices on these forums by the CSM where those backing CCP and telling the players they were drama-queens and children.

Maybe the CSM should get its own house in order before accusing others of "selective quoting and bias confirmation"

Because lets face it comments like

"No I don't see the "huge" ISK value as much of an issue. For the following reasons:

1) The Somer people have more ISK than they know what to do with. The ISK value of this award is meaningless to them.

2) And that ISK value is pretty hypothetical. And it's based purely on the rarity of the Ishscorps given out so far. Note that so far. CCP have said outright that they've given these out before and they're going to be given out again. The mere fact of giving out another 30 has significantly reduced the rarity of these ships.

In fact I think that giving gametime to Somer would be much less appropriate than the Ishscorps. That really would be a straight up money gift, rather than what amounts to a set of harmless souveniers."

showed very well some members of the CSM had no idea and your attacks on me merely look like you attempting to deflect the conversation to something other than the fact, that what was typed on these forums by CSM members made it look like the CSM would not even be able to recognize another T20 if it walked up and bit them in the butt.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Here is a question, why shouldn't Malc be pushing for null sec?

I have been playing for close to 4 years now, I have mined, built ships, ran missions, ran incursions all in HS in my time. I have lived in low sec and WH's.

I have and currently live in null.

I've pretty much experienced all Eve has to offer and out of everything null sec is in more need of fixing then anything else.

All aspects of Indy in null sucks when compared to HS.

PvE in null sucks when compared to HS.

Sov mechanics are painful and are in need of some love.

So yeah I am glad their is somebody who is speaking on behalf of null sec base players to get things fixed.

To be fair, the PVE sucks everywhere.

Protect me from knowing what I don't need to know. Protect me from even knowing that there are things to know that I don't know. Protect me from knowing that I decided not to know about the things that I decided not to know about. Amen.

First of all I did not say "grr null sec", that is you saying that!

I too have been playing since 2009 and have done all but WH's, capital construction and T2 manufacturing, I also spend most of my time in null

I too think that industrial in 0.0 needs some improvements, but unlike you or he who insults I believe that null sec induustry should be improved, not that hisec should be nerfed.

PVE is better in 0.0 than hisec, with the exception of incursions when there are three on at the same time.

Sov mechanics are to the benefit of big blocks, I actually prefer the old POS based system, it made for longer wars...

And Malcanis is not talking for 0.0, he is talking for the major blocks in 0.0, there is a difference if you have the wit to see it, and as far as I am concerned you are another grr hisec...

When the going gets tough the Gankers get their CSM rep to change mechanics in their favour.

I don't know about the CSM having run its course but CCP has.

First of if you think I have insulted anybody then you either need a much thicker skin or just learn to read.

No where did I say HS Indy needs to be nerfed, again learnt o read instead of making things up.

Pve is not better then HS, its a simple thing called Risk v Reward.

I can earn nearly as much in HS as in null doing lvl4 mission semi afk without a care in the world or if I can handle the sheer boredom of Incursions, earn a hell of a lot more.

This is why many people who live in null have alts in HS.

There is next to no risk in HS and you can earn as much or more then you can in null.. yeah PvE in null is working fine.

Also if you live in null then chances are you are part of one of the main null power blocks, CFC, N3, Solar, CVA, Stain Wagon, etc so yeah Malc is speaking for most people in null.

So where as before I didn't insult anybody this time I will.. you

Yes, lets all pander to a Drama Queen who is throwing his toys out of his pram to get attention but did it in such a stupid way he made himself look like an idiot.

If CCP responded to every person who went on a nerd rage then we might as well quit playing Eve as you would be calling the shots.

Did you notice the word or before "he that insults", that was my description of Malcanis, your reading and comprehension skills need work on.

But acting like a hurt child Roll, by posting as if I said "Grr null sec" you threw the first insult Shocked, people who throw stones should not live in glass houses Cool.

PVE is better in Null for the average player with limited time to play, who has two accounts primarily focussed on PvPIdea.

The leaders of the alliances you detailed are a small sub-set of null sec, that is who Malcanis represents, are you that blind? Evil

So to be called an idiot by such as you is a compliment. Lol
