Just like the title says.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

You have this option, just right click your implants and click "unplug". Bam, done.

Now go home.

Where's the sense in that?
I'd love this obviously, since i have like a couple of sets I'd be happy to move, but ... How do I pay for the advantages it gave me while I used them?

I see no reasoning in your suggestion and as such I will state there is no basis for the change.

The Vargur requires launcher hardpoints, following tempest tradition.

Well... some of the new corpse models would seem to suggest that there might be the ability in Rubicon to loot pods for implants. And if you can loot them - why not remove them as well?

well, it could perhaps bring more pvp into the game....

Most players aren't afraid of losing frigs and cruisers, but either can't use jump clones, or don't want to due to the loss of training time while in that clone...
So maybe they'd be more likely to hop in a frig a get blown up if they could take their implants in and out....

No.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

these players would find another reason to not pvp. 1 night in the cheap clone is not going to wreck a skill train. Hell 2 nights won't. Or they could jsut run +3 for the skill they are training. Its what infomorph is for. I ran +3 int/mem and perc/will clones. Training say engineering 5 guess what clone I used. Happy cheap medium. Got my skill trains done in a reasonable time frame doingthis for over a year, and when lost it was jsut 2 implants that were relatively cheap. I tbh spent more on lost harwires, the +3' were write offs lol.

In time you even learn to clear pods. Hint: when your strongest tank is about to die....spam warp out. Only complex part to this was fudge factoring lag. I did pvp before the handy dandy dilation counter. Sometimes you had to just wing it based on how bad mods were sticking and not uncycling.
